Cold-drawn pipe is actually a kind of steel pipe. In the process of manufacturing, it is classified according to the difference of its production process. To a certain extent, it is different from hot-rolled pipe. Cold-drawn pipe is used in capillary material or raw material expansion. In the process of diameter, it will be reasonably processed according to the multi-pass cold drawing production.
Cold drawn pipes can be reasonably divided into aluminum alloy steel pipes, thin-walled pipes, boiler pipes, low and medium pressure boiler pipes and low and medium pressure heating furnace pipes, etc. The diameter of cold drawn pipes can reach 6mm to a certain extent. The wall thickness can reach 0.25mm, and the diameter of the thick-walled pipe can reach 5mm and the wall thickness is less than 0.25mm.
Requirements for the selection of cold drawn pipes
1. In the process of material selection, cold drawn pipes can be reasonably selected with low strength and good plasticity under the condition of reasonable compressive strength.
2. The specification and model of the cold-drawn pipe must be reasonably selected according to the size of the finished product. In the process of completing the actual operation, it can reasonably ensure that its tensile strength is between 20% and 40%. .
3. The surface of the raw material selected by the cold drawn tube must not have gaps, folds, dents, cracks, etc.
4. Cold drawn pipe is a steel pipe that is placed in 0.5~2a after hot rolling. To a certain extent, the time is too short, so that the surface of the steel pipe will rust shallowly, if the time is too long, the surface of the steel pipe will rust too deeply. Insufficient solution before the surface of the steel pipe is caused, which in turn jeopardizes the surface quality of the finished product.
