A hydraulic cylinder rod device is usually used at operation like lifting, bending, straightening, nobbing, cutting, plug welding, jacking, stretching, dismounting, hole punching, and nobbing of steel wires in architecture, bridge and engineering machine. The damages usually appears in the forms of drag mark, electrical strike, scratch and wear-out. Any damage above destroying the sealing of a fluid cylinder can lead to leakage of hydraulic fluid inside. So timely repairing must be done in order to keep its efficiency and meanwhile prevent severe failure and accident caused by such damages. Here are correct steps of disassembling a hydraulic cylinder device,
.Put longitudinal parts like piston rod on an wooden underlay for even support. Avoid any damage to screw thread of piston rod and fluid port, surface of piston rod and interior wall of cylinder jacket;
.Take Disassembly orderly. As hydraulic cylinder rod device differs, the order of disassembly differs too. Generally, fluid in the two cavities of the cylinder should be discharged first, then the cylinder cover, piston and piston rod. When dismounting the cylinder cover, special tools must be used for connection type of interior plier key or snap ring while flat spade forbidden. For flange cover, it must be pushed out with a bolt rather than by hammering or prying. If difficult to draw out piston rod, check the problem and find corresponding solution rather than drive it forcibly;
.If condition permits, to avoid pollution, keep the parts already dismounted away from dust and dirt during disassembly. For example, carry out disassembly in a clean circumstance as possible as you can and cover them with plastic cloth rather than cotton one or likewise;
.Check and clarify the dismounted parts to find out those suitable for further use, those needed to repair and those needed to replace;
.Rinse carefully each part before assembly;
.When a hydraulic cylinder is fixed onto the host, sealing rings must be mounted and fastened to avoid possible leakage hydraulic fluid;
.When assembly is finished, take reciprocation motion for several times in order to discharge air inside the cylinder rod.
