1.By bolt
The most common and simple connection type currently. But the shortage is that the male thread goes broken easily. To prevent it, measures like locking screw, split pin, thread locker, locking seal ring are taken.
2.By bayonet key
This is a connection way for a quenched and tempered rod of big diameter, exceeding the the working range of a regular nut. When a shaft shoulder exceeds 50, such connection is ideal for installation. The point is the special tool, ring pliers. The size and thickness of a bayonet key differs as the diameter of the piston rod does.
3.By welding
This is merely adopted in case of narrow structure of hydraulic cylinder and when other methods like above two doesn’t work. To get better effect, it must be noted that male thread (about 2-3mm longitudinally less than the diameter of hollow rod ) should be machined for welding.
